F.U.B Cap Combination の2024新作です。
2024年は、“VELO Spica Fishing Tournament” 。架空のフィッシングトーナメントのキャップをイメージしてデザインされています。
F.U.B Cap Combination はオーソドックスな6パネルデザインでありながら、ツバ表面をスエード&レザー調ヴィーガンレザー(フェイクレザー)に切り替えることで、ヴィンテージのフィッシングキャップの雰囲気を表現したコンビネーションキャップです。ポリエステル100%のヴィーガンレザーは洗濯も可能ですのでリアルレザーと比べお手入れも簡単です。
今回もフロントのグラフィックデザインはEDIT design and supply 、刺繍はLaugh & Sunnyday に依頼し最高の仕上がりになっています。帽体はコットンライクな風合いが特徴のタスランナイロンを使用。軽量で耐久性に優れ、撥水性も備えた生地です。グリーンのツバ裏は速乾性のあるポリエステル/コットンの生地に切り替え、発汗時の汗の逃げ道を作っています。
今回も、置き換えが可能なパーツはリサイクル・エコ素材に変更しています。
ツバはcol.Beige が「FLEX VISOR」 、col.Brownが新たに「SEMI-RIGID VISOR」を採用しています。「SEMI-RIGID VISOR」は「FLEX VISOR」 より一段階固めのつばになっています。
使うシーンによって、曲がりにくい少し固めのツバが良い、というご要望を受けて登場しました。軽さはそのままに激しく動いたりぶつけてもツバの形をキープ。軽く畳む事も出来ますが、より小さく畳める点では、FLEX VISORの方が優れています。 キープ力の「SEMI-RIGID VISOR」、フォールディングの「FLEX VISOR」 、という区分けです。
またvelo spica のツバの特徴でもあるフリップ・アップ(視界を広げたい時にはツバを上に跳ね上げる)して被ることも可能です。
カメラのファインダーを覗く時やヘルメットの下、クライミングなど、ちょっとしたタイミングでフリップ・アップが役に立ちます。
共に水に浮く素材なので水辺の遊びにも。

col.Brown は、つば前面にレザー調素材(こちらもヴィーガンレザー)を使用しています。
さらに形もやや長め89mm長の“Midbill” 。今までと少し違った雰囲気に仕上がっています。

※ 洗濯は中性洗剤での手洗いをお勧めしております。なお干す時は、軽く生地を伸ばし、帽子の形を整えてから、日陰で平干し、もしくは吊り干しして下さい。もし洗濯機を使用する場合は洗濯ネットをお使い下さい。生地は汗を吸った状態で放置しますと黄ばみや変色の原因となりますので適度な洗濯をお願い致します。
※ フリップアップは背面のアジャスターをややしっかりとテンションがかかるように調整した方が上げ下げがし易くなります。
※ ツバを丸めて小さく畳む事も可能です。素材の性質上、繰り返し畳む事でナイロン生地・メッシュ生地は柔らかくなっていきます。硬い状態が良い場合は、畳まずにお使い下さい。水洗いしてスチームアイロンをかける事で型崩れはある程度戻ります。
※ 長時間高温の場所に放置しておくとツバの形が変形する恐れがあります。 保管する際は日陰の高温になりにくい場所でお願い致します。


F.U.B Cap Combination is an orthodox 6-panel design with a suede vegan leather ( artificial leather ) brim to give it a vintage cap feel.

If the 8-panel Flipper Cap is old school, the 6-panel F.U.B Cap is more like new school. The 100% polyester vegan leather is fully washable and easier to care for than real leather.

The design is inspired by vintage outdoor/fishing caps from around the 90's with a touch of innocence.

The cap is made of taslan nylon with a cotton-like texture. It is lightweight, durable, and water repellent. The green brim is made of a quick-drying polyester/cotton fabric that allows perspiration to escape.

Once again, replaceable parts are made of recycled and eco-friendly materials. The brim is the same as before, with a flex visor that is soft, foldable, and specially treated to keep its shape. The brim can also be flipped up for a wider visibility, which is a feature of the Velo spica brim.

・We recommend hand washing with a mild detergent. When drying, stretch the fabric lightly to shape the hat and spin dry or hang dry in the shade. If using a washing machine, use a laundry net. If the fabric is left to absorb perspiration, it may turn yellow or discolor, so please wash the hat in moderation.
・Flip-ups can be easily raised and lowered by adjusting the adjuster on the back so that the tension is a little tighter.
・It is also possible to fold the brim into a smaller size. Due to the characteristics of the material, the nylon and mesh fabrics will become softer by frequent folding. If you prefer it to be hard, please use without folding.
・If the product is left in a high temperature environment for a long period of time, the shape of the brim may become deformed. When storing the product, please keep it in a shady place where it will not be exposed to high temperatures.
